Y-2JQ, established in 2016, is grounded in the concept of Retro-Futurism—a perspective that looks both backward and forward at the same time.
We draw from traditional Eastern culture while placing it within the context of today’s global fashion landscape. Rather than treating heritage and modernity as opposites, we see them as elements that can coexist, interact, and reshape one another.
Through our work, we explore how Eastern and Western influences can merge into new forms of expression. This ongoing process is reflected across our garments, thematic projects, and community-driven events.
For us, design is not limited to clothing. It is a way of experimenting with culture—
continuously discovering new possibilities between where we come from and where we are going.
